.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20have%20two%20different%20seating%20areas.%20The%20ones%20with%20tatami%20and%20the%20ones%20with%20regular%20tables%20and%20chairs.%20Since%20we%20were%20with%20the%20kids,%20it%20would%20be%20so%20much%20easier%20for%20us%20to%20sit%20on%20the%20regular%20table%20and%20chairs.%20(Unfortunately%20I%20did%20not%20take%20a%20picture%20of%20the%20tatami%20one,%20since%20the%20place%20was%20so%20busy%20at%20that%20time).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20at%20first%20we%20were%20offered%20some%20drinks,%20our%20choice%20went%20for%20hot%20tea%20(indeed%20it%20was%20a%20very%20good%20one)%20and%20apple%20juice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20have%20various%20kinds%20of%20appetizers,%20sushi%20and%20maki%20and%20cone,%20some%20udon%20soup,%20soba,%20rice%20dishes,%20and%20of%20course%20some%20dessert.%20They%20also%20have%20special%20menu%20of%20the%20day%20(we%20did%20not%20try%20though).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20the%20drinks%20we%20were%20served%20with%20some%20miso%20soup%20and%20one%20small%20plate%20of%20salad%20(I%20think%20this%20salad%20goes%20with%20daddy's%20order).%20To%20my%20note,%20the%20miso%20soup%20was%20very%20tasty,%20if%20only%20they%20put%20some%20seaweed,%20that%20would%20be%20perfect!%20It%20only%20has%20some%20tiny%20tofu%20and%20spring%20onion.%20But%20still%20it%20was%20delicious.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20salad%20was%20yummy%20too,%20it%20was%20lettuce,%20tomato,%20cucumber%20and%20celery%20with%20some%20tangy%20sesame%20dressing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20a%20bit%20hard%20for%20me%20to%20choose%20what%20to%20have%20for%20dinner,%20since%20I%20was%20not%20really%20hungry,%20but%20I%20know%20I%20got%20to%20eat%20something.%20So%20my%20choice%20was%20this%20tempura%20udon.%20The%20tempura%20consists%20of%20prawn,%20squid,%20sweet%20potato,%20eggplant%20and%20cucumber.%20The%20broth%20was%20tasty%20enough,%20but%20the%20tempura%20was%20bland.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20is%20daddy's%20choice,%20chicken%20teriyaki%20dinner.%20He%20gave%20excellent%20mark%20for%20this%20dish.%20Jordan%20and%20I%20got%20to%20taste%20the%20chicken%20too,%20and%20indeed%20it%20was%20delicious.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20also%20had%20some%20maki%20(California%20and%20Dynamite%20rolls)%20and%20sushi%20(Smoked%20Salmon%20and%20BBQ%20Eel).%20As%20for%20me,%20the%20maki%20taste%20so%20so%20(or%20I%20might%20be%20too%20full%20by%20the%20time%20they%20served%20these),%20but%20the%20sushi%20were%20sooo%20good%20and%20fresh.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20the%20dynamite%20maki%20with%20prawn%20tempura%20inside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOverall,%20we%20were%20content%20with%20what%20we%20had%20for%20the%20amount%20of%20money%20we%20had%20to%20spend%20and%20definitely%20we'll%20be%20back%20again.%20So%20if%20you%20are%20in%20town,%20I%20recommend%20this%20Japanese%20restaurant,%20it%20is%20worth%20to%20try.%20Be%20prepared%20for%20some%20extra%20money%20to%20spend%20(compared%20to%20food%20court%20or%20franchise%20class%20restaurants).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Mother's%20Day!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EKyoto%20Japanese%20Cuisine%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDowntown:%2010128%20109St%20Edmonton,%20AB%20T5J%201M7%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E7804201750%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUniversity:%208709%20109St%20Edmonton,%20AB%20T6G%202L5%20(we%20went%20to%20this%20one)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E7804146066%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
