- 10 large prawns, peeled and deveined, heads reserved
- 2 tsp Shaoxing wine
- 2 Tbsp peanuts, roasted
- Marinade:
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp sugar
- pepper, to taste
- ⅛ tsp cornflour / corn starch
- Sauce:
- 1 tsp light soy sauce
- ½ tsp sugar
- 1 tsp white rice vinegar
- 2 tsp Hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp chilli bean paste
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 tsp cornflour / corn starch
- sesame oil, to taste
