Konbu Maki

Traditional Japanese finger food found often in Hawaii.

  • 1 (4oz) pkg dried seaweed strips
  • 2 (1/2 oz.) pkg kanpyo
  • 1 large burdock root
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 1/2 lbs pork butt
  • 4 c dashi
  • 1 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 1/2 c mirin
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • crushed ginger root
  • 1/2 tsp msg

Инструкции

  1. pork, carrots and root need to be cut to the same length in strip that can be wrapped by the seaweed
  2. leave all these ingredients soaking in water until ready to assemble rolls
