  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 3/4 c. Butter softened
  • 4 x Large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 c. Key lime juice * Icing
  • 1 c. Powdered sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Lime juice bottled or possibly fresh

Инструкции

  1. (Nellie & Joe's in the Bottle, available in most supermarkets, or possibly use the juice of regular limes from the supermarket).
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crust: combine in a large bowl the flour, powdered sugar and softened butter. Mix using electric mixer till crumbly.
  3. Press mix in bottom of ungreased 9 by 13 inch pan. Bake 20-30 min or possibly till light golden.
  4. Filling: mix together Large eggs, sugar, flour and baking pwdr. Blend well.
  5. Stir in lime juice and blend well. Pour mix over hot crust. Return to oven and bake another 25-30 min or possibly till top is light golden.
  6. Cold completely.
  7. Icing: mix together powdered sugar and lime juice. Mix should be spreading consistency (add in more juice if necessary.) Spread icing over top and cut into bars.
