1 box (17 ounce) date nut bread mix
1/2 c. kahlua
1/2 c. minced nuts

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 T kahlua

Prepare bread mix according to instructions using the 1/2 cup kahlua instead of 1/2 cup water. Mix in nuts. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 min. Remove from oven and glaze while hot with following.Beat 1/2 cup powdered sugar with 1 1/2 tbsp kahlua till smooth. Drizzle on top of warm bread. This freezes well.
