%20shared%20this%20recipe%20with%20me.%20It's%20good,%20it's%20easy%20and%20during%20the%20holidays%20it's%20not%20fattening%20(but%20watch%20out%20for%20the%20remainder%20of%20the%20year....cuz%20it'll%20attack%20your%20hips%20with%20a%20vengeance....it's%20only%20safe%20during%20the%20holidays...I%20swear.%20No%20lie.).%20Anyways...I've%20been%20craving%20this%20dip%20since%20the%20day%20after%20Thanksgiving%20(I%20think%20I%20saw%20the%20recipe%20in%20my%20folder%20and%20realized%20that%20I%20had%20all%20the%20ingredients%20and%20instantly%20went%20into%20crave%20mode).%20I%20wanted%20something%20I%20could%20munch%20on%20all%20day%20without%20reheating%20or%20assembling....just%20reach,%20dip,%20insert%20in%20mouth%20and%20go%20Mmmmmmmmm.%20But%20I%20didn't%20have%20any%20crackers.%20I%20have%20to%20have%20crackers.%20Actually%20Jalapeno%20Popper%20Dip%20would%20probably%20be%20even%20better%20with%20those%20Frito%20Scoopables....but%20I%20like%20crackers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECrackers%20were%20bought%20Sunday....and%20by%20midweek%20when%20no%20one%20was%20home%20for%20dinner,%20this%20rich,%20slightly%20spicy,%20filling,%20ooey%20gooey%20dip%20made%20it%20on%20my%20dinner%20plate.%20Solo.%20No%20sides.%20No%20main.%20As%20is...alone.%20And%20it%20was%20a%20wonderfully%20sinful%20dinner.%20I%20mentioned%20this%20on%20my%20Facebook%20page%20and%20next%20thing%20I%20knew,%20there%20was%20my%20sister's%20friend%20in%20Alabama%20asking%20(kinda%20reminded%20me%20of%20a%203%20yr%20old....i%20think%20she%20was%20whining%20most%20audibly%20on%20Facebook)%20for%20the%20recipe,%20and%20then%20my%20cousin%20from%20up%20north%20begging%20for%20it.....which%20reminded%20me%20of%20the%20old%20days%20when%20we'd%20beg%20our%20parents%20to%20let%20us%20do%20something,%20with%20promises%20of%20being%20good%20beyond%20our%20control.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20stood%20firm%20and%20told%20them%20both%20they'd%20have%20to%20wait.%20(To%20my%20delight....I%20was%20accused%20of%20being%20Evil.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOk,%20so%20I%20mentioned%20that%20Tango%20shared%20this%20recipe.%20She's%20one%20of%20my%20BakeSpace.com%20buds.%20She%20has%20a%20blog%20titled%20Tangos%20Treasures%20(btw....she's%20having%20a%20giveaway%20if%20y'all%20are%20interested....ends%2012/8/10).%20Tango's%20blog%20is%20a%20fun%20mixture%20of%20recipes,%20experiences%20and%20some%20great%20quilting!!%20This%20lady%20is%20truly%20talented.%20You%20can%20also%20see%20a%20ton%20of%20her%20recipes%20in%20BakeSpace%20Kitchen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpeaking%20of%20Giveaways.....there's%20still%20some%20time....not%20a%20whole%20lot,%20but%20some...to%20enter%20in%20my%20CSNStores.com%20$50%20Gift%20Certificate%20Giveaway.%20You%20have%20until%20midnight%20pst%2012/5/10%20to%20enter%20for%20your%20chance%20to%20win%20:-)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow.....As%20promised%20to%20a%20couple%20of%20dips,%20here%20is%20the%20recipe%20for%20the%20dip.%20I%20did%20alter%20it%20ever%20so%20slightly%20from%20the%20original%20recipe%20that%20was%20shared%20with%20me...but%20hey....isn't%20that%20what%20recipes%20are%20for?%20Make%20it%20your%20own!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJalapeno%20Popper%20Dip%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20can%20either%20do%20this%20in%20a%20food%20processor....or%20the%20old%20fashioned%20way%20(hand%20mixer%20and%20spoon).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20your%20oven%20to%20375'F.%20Lightly%20grease%20a%202%20quart%20casserole%20dish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E***If%20you're%20using%20a%20food%20processor,%20just%20dump%20it%20all%20in%20(except%20for%20the%20topping%20ingredients)%20and%20process%20until%20smooth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E***If%20you're%20using%20a%20hand%20mixer%20and%20spoon%20(like%20I%20did%20cuz%20I%20was%20too%20lazy%20to%20wash%20the%20parts%20for%20my%20food%20processor)....in%20a%20large%20bowl,%20cream%20together%20the%20cream%20cheese,%20mayonnaise%20and%20sour%20cream%20with%20your%20mixer,%20until%20smooth.%20Stir%20in%20the%20remaining%20ingredients%20(except%20for%20the%20topping%20ingredients)%20until%20combined%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpread%20the%20dip%20into%20your%20prepared%20casserole%20dish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20small%20bowl,%20combine%20the%20panko%20and%20cheese.%20Add%20the%20butter%20and%20mix%20well....making%20sure%20everything%20is%20%22wet%22.%20Sprinkle%20over%20the%20dip.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20in%20your%20preheated%20375'%20oven%20for%2025%20minutes%20until%20a%20little%20golden%20brown%20on%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAllow%20to%20cool%20a%20little%20before%20serving.%20Best%20when%20served%20warm%20or%20at%20room%20temperature.%20Get's%20a%20little%20%22stiff%22%20when%20cold....so%20you'll%20want%20to%20reheat%20it%20if%20you%20have%20leftovers.%20I%20was%20talking%20to%20my%20sister%20about%20this%20recipe%20and%20she%20had%20the%20great%20idea%20of%20adding.....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWait%20for%20it....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWaaaaaait%20for%20it.....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBACON!!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYep....next%20time%20I%20make%20this,%20I'm%20adding%20more%20jalapenos%20and%20some%20bacon.%20Can%20you%20say....HEAVEN!!!%
