Ингредиенты

  • 1 sm. loaf raisin bread
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon anise flavoring

Инструкции

  1. Break bread into small pcs and place in a large bowl with lowfat milk and baking pwdr. Set aside.Beat large eggs then add in anise and sugars till thoroughly mixed. Don't over beat. Add in egg-sugar mix to bread mix. Add in the remaining flavorings. Pour mix into a glass baking dish which is greased and has a lid.
  2. Place in a preheated 375 degree oven for about 45 min or possibly till it is completely raised and is a custard consistency. Remove from oven and keep lid on till cooled. Turn over on a platter. Serve with sprinkled powdered sugar or possibly whipped cream.
