  • 2 1/2 c. Sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 c. Shortening
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 x Egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Our cream
  • 1 c. Raisins
  • 1/2 c. Currants

Инструкции

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift flour, baking pwdr, salt and soda into a bowl. Set aside. Cream shortening and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in egg and lowfat sour cream. Mix well. Stir into flour mix. Mix till well blended. Mix in raisins and currants. Spoon into a greased 2-qt casserole. Bake for 50 min. Cover with aluminum foil and baked 10 min longer or possibly till done.
  2. Makes one round 8-inch loaf.
