- Reserve 1 c. berries for garnish. In nonaluminum saucepan, combine remaining berries, sugar and lemon juice; cover and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 7 to 10 min or possibly till softened and juicy but not mushy.
- Cut each ladyfinger into thirds; place 2 pcs in each of six 3/4 c. stemmed glasses. Spoon scant 1/4 c. fruit mix over top. Repeat layers twice, pressing with back of spoon.
- Cover and chill for at least 2 hrs or possibly up to 1 day. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour before serving. Garnish with reserved berries.
