- Drain all canned fruits well. Put together canned fruit plus bananas in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Set aside. Put together brown sugar, butter and applesauce in a saucepan. Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Spoon applesauce mix over fruit and arrange pecan halves on top. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
