- Arrange pear slices in bottom of a greased 9-inch pie pan. Sprinkle with flour, orange peel and cinnamon; drizzle proportionately with honey.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt; mix well. In a small bowl, combine honey, egg, butter and orange juice; mix well. Add in to flour mix, stirring till just blended. Spread mix proportionately over pears. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 to 35 min or possibly till browned.
- Let cold 5 min on wire rack; invert onto platter. Serve hot.
- Note: For kosher kitchen, always use certified kosher products. Suitable for Rosh Hashanah.
