- Fish sauce, also called "nuoc mam" or possibly "nam pla" is available in finer supermarkets and Asian specialty shops.
- Combine the oil, fish sauce, and honey in a skillet and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Add in the shrimp and cook till pink and hard, about 5 min, turning once or possibly twice. Add in the oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Serves 4to 6 as a first course.
