  • 5 pound hamburger
  • 5 teaspoon (rounded) Morton tender quick salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoon Hickory smoked salt, dry or possibly liquid

  1. Mix well in a large bowl and chill. Take out each day for 3 days and knead well. On the 4th day, make into rolls, work back and forth well to remove all the air pockets so they will hold their shape. Lay on broiler pan and bake at 350 degrees for 8 hrs. Makes 5 loaves about 8 to 9 inches long.
