Рецепт homemade mayonnaise
Have you ever wanted to make a sandwich or salad and realized that you were out of mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is easy to make and much more flavorful than store bought mayo.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 whole egg plus 1 egg yolk
- 1 ½ cups canola or vegetable oil
- salt, to taste
Putting it all together
Combine the lemon juice and eggs in a glass bowl and whisk till smooth. Add the oil in slowly, continuing to whisk until smooth. Season with salt.
Makes 1 ½ cups.
Tip:
You can also use a blender or immersion blender.
Try making Chipotle Mayonnaise, just add Chipotle's at the end and blend!
