Ингредиенты

  • 1 c. plain rice, or possibly converted
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 med. onions, finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon leeks
  • 1/2 teaspoon shallots
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • Mixed herbs

Инструкции

  1. Put 1 stick butter in a frying pan. Add in onions, leeks, shallots and rice. Put over moderate heat, watch carefully as the onions brown easily. Add in more butter if necessary; it will all be absorbed. Cook till rice is browned; watch which is does not burn. Pour 2 c. chicken broth over the whole, add in salt and cover. Cook till rice tests done. Add in mixed herbs and a tsp. of butter.
