- Pour juice from roasting pan into measuring c.. Add in 1/4 c. chicken broth to pan and stir to loosen bits from pan. Add in to measuring c. and add in more chicken broth to equal 2 c. liquid. Pour into saucepan. Add in 1/2 tsp. dry basil, salt and pepper. Combine 1/2 c. water and flour; mix well. Add in to saucepan. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
