Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

My kid-friendly recipe is Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies. I jumped at the chance to join this group of food bloggers. You will be able to see over 30 kid-friendly cookie recipes at the end of this post.
Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Serves: 26
Ingredients
- 2 small ripe bananas
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- ⅓ cup butter
- ⅓ plain Greek Yogurt (I used Fage)
- ⅛ cup vanilla protein powder( I used Now Sports Whey Protein isolate Cookies and Cream flavor)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1½ cups quick oats, uncooked
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl mash the bananas.
Add the peanut butter until combined.
Add the yogurt, vanilla protein powder,softened butter and vanilla extract. Mix completely.
Add oatmeal and chocolate chips to the banana mixture.
Drop cookie dough by the spoonful onto parchment lined cookie sheet and flatten slightly into circles (these aren’t going to spread when you bake them, that’s why you’re doing this)
Bake about 15 mins or until golden brown.
Allow to rest 5 mins before moving to a cooling rack.
Once cooled store in an airtight container.

Chock full of every kids favorite flavors. Chocolate, oatmeal, bananas. What’s not to love about this great recipe.
