Ингредиенты

  • 1 1/2 lbs. grnd chuck
  • 1 pound very lean sausage
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 sm. onion, chopped
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 sm. onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 bay leaf

Инструкции

  1. Mix large eggs, lowfat milk and bread crumbs. Add in all remaining ingredients. Mix well. Shape into meatballs the size of large marbles. Place on cookie sheets and broil till done. At this point, meatballs may be frzn for later use. When ready to serve, make the following sauce.
  2. Saute onion in butter. Add in other ingredients. Simmer 15 min. Add in meatballs and heat. To serve, place large can of liquid removed pineapple chunks and 8 oz jar olives, liquid removed, in a chafing dish. Pour meatballs on top and toss lightly.If any meatballs are leftover after your party, they're good served later on rice for a family meal.
