%20gave%20Nutella%20its%20own%20holiday%20in%202007%20and%20they%E2%80%99re%20continuing%20the%20tradition%20this%20year.%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20fortune%20cookies,%20which%20I%20thought%20would%20present%20me%20with%20a%20challenge.%20However,%20they%20were%20so%20simple%20to%20make%20and%20they%20tasted%20incredible!%20They%E2%80%99re%20not%20as%20crunchy%20as%20regular%20fortune%20cookies,%20but%20instead%20they%E2%80%99re%20soft,%20chewy%20and%20filled%20with%20Nutella!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20small%20bowl,%20whisk%20together%20the%20flour%20and%20cocoa%20powder;%20set%20aside.%20In%20a%20stand%20mixer%20fitted%20with%20the%20paddle%20attachment,%20cream%20together%20the%20butter,%20cream%20cheese%20and%20sugar%20until%20light%20and%20fluffy.%20Add%20the%20vanilla%20and%20cinnamon%20and%20mix%20well%20until%20combined.%20Add%20the%20flour%20and%20cocoa%20powder%20to%20the%20butter%20mixture%20and%20mix%20well.%20Add%20milk%20when%20the%20dough%20becomes%20too%20hard%20to%20mix%20(this%20will%20soften%20it%20up%20and%20incorporate%20all%20of%20the%20dry%20ingredients).%20Divide%20the%20dough%20into%20two%20portions;%20wrap%20in%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20refrigerate%20until%20the%20dough%20is%20chilled%20and%20firm%20(approximately%201-2%20hours).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F%20and%20remove%20one%20portion%20of%20the%20dough%20from%20the%20refrigerator.%20On%20a%20floured%20surface,%20roll%20out%20the%20dough%20until%20it%20is%20about%201/4%E2%80%B3%20thick.%20Using%20a%20round%20cookie%20cutter%20or%20biscuit%20cutter,%20cut%20circles%20out%20of%20the%20dough%20and%20place%20them%20on%20a%20parchment%20paper-lined%20cookie%20sheet.%20Place%20approximately%203/4%20teaspoons%20of%20Nutella%20on%20each%20circle,%20slightly%20off-center,%20then%20fold%20each%20circle%20in%20half%20so%20that%20the%20edges%20meet.%20Lightly%20press%20the%20edges%20to%20seal.%20Then%20slowly%20bring%20the%20two%20points%20together,%20(around%20one%20of%20your%20fingers%20to%20make%20a%20small%20indentation%20in%20the%20center)%20until%20they%E2%80%99re%20touching%20and%20you%E2%80%99ve%20got%20the%20look%20of%20a%20fortune%20cookie.%20Repeat%20for%20each%20portion%20of%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20the%20cookies%20for%2012-15%20minutes%20or%20until%20the%20cookies%20look%20dull.%20Remove%20from%20the%20oven,%20but%20leave%20the%20cookies%20on%20the%20cookie%20sheet%20for%202-3%20minutes%20before%20transferring%20them%20to%20a%20wire%20rack%20to%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Echocolate,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecookies,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efortune%20cookies,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENutella,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWorld%20Nutella%20Day%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
