Ham and Navy Bean Soup

Delicious soup using leftover Ham. Great light supper or lunch.

Ингредиенты

  • one cup cubed Ham
  • one 15.5 ounce can Navy Beans (Or any white beans-rinsed)
  • 1-1/2 cups vegetable stock (low sodium)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • one sage leaf
  • one bay leaf
  • one carrot, diced
  • 1/4 onion diced
  • one clove of garlic minced
  • fresh parsley chipped finely
  • black pepper, to taste

Инструкции

  1. In a lidded soup pot add stock, water, on medium heat, add diced carrot, onion, sage & bay leaf, diced onion and cook 8 minutes, add ham cubes, fresh parsley, beans, stir well, cover, lower heat to simmer and cook 12 minutes.
