Gung Kratiem (Prawns With Garlic)

Ингредиенты

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 lrg garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 6 lrg raw king prawns, shelled, deveined,
  • 1 Tbsp. fish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. fish stock or possibly broth
  • 1 pch grnd white pepper lettuce, parsley sprigs and cucumber slices, to garnish

  1. Line a serving dish with lettuce, parsley sprigs and a few slices of cucumber.
  2. Reserve. In a work or possibly frying pan, heat the oil till a light haze appears. Add in the garlic and fry till golden . Add in the prawns and cook briefly, stirring all the time, till they start to become opaque. Stirring briskly after each addition, add in the fish sauce, light soy, dark soy, stock and white pepper. By now the prawns should be cooked through. Turn the heat up to maximum for a few seconds quickly to reduce the liquid to about 3 tbs.. Turn onto the prepared serving dish and serve.
