  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 8 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 20 x apples peeled and sliced
  • 2 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 tsp lowfat milk

  1. Dough mix:Mix all dough ingredients together till smooth. Brush with butter and Let stand 2 hrs covered. Put cloth on Kitchen table and spread some flour on cloth. Roll and stretch dough to paper thin on floured cloth. Sprinkle lightly with melted butter.
  2. Filling:Mix sugar and Cinnamon together well. Add in sugar and cinnamon to Apples and mix carefully not to break up all the apple slices.
  3. Spread apple mix all over the rolled out dough carefully and proportionately.
  4. Grab cloth on one end and lift and ROLL like a Jelly Roll.
  5. Lift roll by cloth (Get help here) and slide onto a greased baking pan.
  6. You will have to turn the roll into a U shaped piece, be very careful!
  7. Mix topping (egg and lowfat milk) wish whisk. Brush topping over roll for a nice glossy shine.
  8. Bake in oven at 350 until dough is done golden but not burnt!
