- Soften gelatin in lemon juice; set aside. Combine egg yolks, guava juice and 1/2 c. sugar. Add in red food color. Cook and stir over medium heat till mix thickens, add in gelatin mix. Cold till consistency of egg whites.
- Beat egg whites and cream of tartar to stiff peaks, add in 1/4 c. sugar, beat till stiff peaks form. Mix in gelatin mix, pour into pie shell. Chill, top with sweetened whipped cream.
