Grilled Steak with a Red Wine Shallot Sauce

Taking time out of a hectic schedule to spend some quality time with the hubby is great. Witnessing him live his dream to attend the Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta National is priceless.

I don’t golf, and as much as I enjoy spending time with the hubby, I wasn’t super thrilled to be attending a golf game for my vacation. But, I am now a golf fan. I won’t play the game, but I won’t mind watching it now.

The trip was exhausting and fun at the same time. Much like how I sometimes feel when I am in the kitchen.

I love to cook and I love trying new recipes. But sometimes simple can go a long way.

So while the final round of the Masters was blasting on the TV screen. I made a great Grilled Steak with a Red Wine Shallot Sauce. I served it with roasted new potatoes (recipe is a future post).

Sometimes, happiness comes from knowing that someone you love is getting to do what they love to do.

And sometimes happiness comes from that simple meal that you cooked.

Wherever your happiness comes from make sure you make the best of it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
