A refreshing cocktail anytime of the year! Based on a salad recipe I submitted in a Rachael Ray contest (circa 2006). It didn't win, but saw it some time later prepared on a Giada de Laurentiis episode!

  • one large grapefruit, juiced or 1/2 cup juice
  • basil leaves-4
  • one shot vodka
