Рецепт Green Peas Sambar
Ingredients:
- Green Peas – 100 gms
- Onions – 1 tblsp, finely chopped
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Sambar Powder – 2 tsp
- Toor Dal – 1 tblsp, boiled
- Tamarind Extract – 1 cup
- Salt as per taste
- Oil as required
- To Grind:
- Onion – 1
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Coriander Seeds – 1 tsp
- Kopra – 2 tsp, grated
- Ginger – a small piece
- For Tempering:
- Fenugreek Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – few
Method:
1. Heat little oil in a frying pan over medium flame.
2. Fry the ingredients to grind for a minute and grind to a smooth paste.
3. Transfer the tamarind extract to a pan over medium flame.
4. Add salt, turmeric powder, sambar powder and bring to a boil.
5. Heat little oil in a frying pan.
6. Saute the onions, green peas and add to the tamarind.
7. Bring to a boil.
8. Add the ground masala, toor dal and mix well.
9. Simmer for 2 minutes.
10. Fry the tempering ingredients and add to the sambar.
11. Serve hot.
