- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat cream over low heat till bubbles form on edge of pan. Beat egg yolks and sugar till thick (3 min). Beating constantly pour cream in steady slow stream into egg yolks.
- Add in vanilla and pour into custard c.. Place c. in baking pan with 1 inch of boiling water in the bottom. Bake 45 min.
- Remove c. and refrigerate2 hrs. Sprinkle each c. with granulated sugar. Place on top rack under broiler till sugar browns (a few seconds). Chill till serving. Serves 6.
