.%20%20Pathetic%20and%20crazy.%20%20Remind%20me%20to%20share%20the%20story%20some%20time.......It%20does%20end%20up%20with%20a%20happy%20ending.%20%20Back%20to%20the%20main%20idea.%20%20I%20wanted%20cinnamon%20rolls%20that%20I%20could%20make%20the%20night%20before%20and%20then%20cook%20in%20the%20morning.%20%20In%20my%20search%20I%20came%20upon%20a%20recipe%20that%20had%20you%20leave%20them%20to%20raise%20on%20the%20counter%20overnight.%20%20I%20must%20admit%20I%20was%20a%20little%20skeptical,%20but%20then%20I%20read%20who's%20recipe%20it%20was...MY%20GRANDMA'S!%20No%20longer%20skeptical%20I%20went%20to%20work%20and%20they%20turned%20out%20delicious.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrandma's%20Overnight%20Cinnamon%20Rolls%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20mix%20for%2010%20minutes%20on%20high.%20%20*Make%20sure%20your%20mixer%20does%20not%20walk%20off%20the%20counter.%20%20I%20did%20not%20understand%20this%20until%20actually%20doing%20it.%20%20Plan%20on%20staying%20right%20next%20to%20your%20mixer%20for%20the%2010%20minutes.%20%20It%20does%20tend%20to%20move%20around.%20%20I%20actually%20mixed%20mine%20on%20a%205%20or%20half%20the%20speed.%20%20I%20was%20a%20little%20nervous%20to%20turn%20it%20all%20the%20way%20up%20for%20that%20long%20of%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENOTE:%20The%20following%20are%20the%20original%20%20instructions.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStart%20rolls%20around%204%20PM%20(I%20started%20around%207%20PM)%20and%20then%20every%20hour%20let%20the%20mixer%20mix%20for%20about%202-3%20minutes.%20%20When%20ready%20for%20bed%20split%20the%20dough%20in%20half%20and%20roll%20out%20about%201/2%20inch%20thick%20into%20two%20large%20rectangles.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFILLING:%20melted%20butter,%20cinnamon%20(lots),%20white%20and%20brown%20sugar.%20%20(the%20amount%20depends%20on%20how%20gooey%20and%20rich%20you%20want%20them%20)%20%20I%20used%201/4%20cup%20butter,%201/2%20cup%20white%20sugar,%203/4%20cup%20brown%20sugar%20and%20about%202%20teaspoons%20cinnamon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERolll%20up.%20%20Now%20this%20is%20the%20really%20cool%20trick%20that%20my%20Grandma%20taught%20me.%20%20Get%20out%20some%20waxed%20dental%20floss.%20%20Cut%20off%20a%20long%20piece.%20Wrap%20it%20around%20your%20roll:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecross%20it%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20pull%20it%20through%20the%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20voila...and%20easy%20cut!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20want%20your%20rolls%20about%201%20inch%20thick.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20on%20cookie%20sheet%203%20across%20and%204%20down,%20with%20room%20to%20spare%20between%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECover%20them%20lightly%20with%20sprayed%20(greased)%20plastic%20wrap.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%20rise%20all%20night%20on%20the%20counter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(I%20had%20trouble%20with%20getting%20the%20measurement%20right%20at%20first%20so%20I%20did%20not%20end%20up%20with%2024%20rolls)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20in%20the%20AM%20at%20375%20degrees%20for%2012-15%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFrost%20while%20they%20are%20warm%20with%20a%20mixture%20of:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emelted%20butter,%20powdered%20sugar,%20a%20bit%20of%20milk%20and%20vanilla.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20pan%20looked%20good.%20%20They%20other%20one%20did%20not,%20but%20still%20tasted%20great!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wish%20I%20would%20of%20used%20more%20filling%20mixture.%20%20I%20felt%20these%20were%20lacking%20a%20little%20bit.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20husband%20said%20they%20were%20PERFECT!%20(How%20sweet%20was%20that!!)%20He%20is%20hoping%20I%20will%20make%20them%20more%20often%20than%20once%20ever%2010%20years!%20HA%20HA!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~Tiffanee%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
