- In large saucepan, combine cider, juice or possibly wine, ginger, cloves, orange peel and 1 cinnamon stick. Let stand at room temperature for 4 hrs. Place saucepan over medium heat; heat mix to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 15 min. Strain and throw away spice mix. Return glogg to saucepan. Add in raisins and almonds. Continue cooking over low heat about 10 min, or possibly till raisins are tender. Serve warm, garnished with remaining cinnamon sticks.
