Glazed Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

Ингредиенты

  • Pastry for 2 crust pie
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 2 c. fresh strawberries
  • 2 c. (1" pcs) fresh rhubarb
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. sugar

Инструкции

  1. Combine 1 1/4 c. sugar, salt and flour. Arrange 1/2 of strawberries and rhubarb in pastry lined 9 inch pie pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of sugar mix. Repeat with remaining fruit and sugar mix; dot with butter.
  2. Adjust top crust and flute edges. Brush top of pie with cool water and sprinkle on 1 Tbsp. sugar. Cut steam vents. Bake in warm oven (425 degrees) for 40-50 min or possibly till rhubarb is tender and crust is browned.
