- Crush sufficient peaches to make 1 c., leaving the rest sliced. Spread these fresh sliced peaches into the pie shell and cover completely with the following mix.
- Combine the 1 c. crushed peaches with water, sugar and cornstarch. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat till clear, 2 ro 3 min, stirring occasionally. Add in butter. Cold slightly. Pour over fresh peaches making sure which all are covered. Refrigerateat least 2 hrs. Just before serving, garnish with whipped cream. (This is a wonderful pie!)
