- For the Kahua Date Bfead:
- 1 cup chopped, pitted dates
- 1/2 cup Kahlua
- 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sweet butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- 1 cup white chocolate, broken into small chunks (or use white chocolate chips)
- For Glaze:
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 4-6 tsp milk
- 1/2 tsp. Kahlua optional
- For a Kahlua Cream Cheese Spread:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp soft butter
- 2 Tbsp Kahlua
