- Put all ingredients into a clean jar.
- Stir till sugar is dissolved.
- Cover jar and leave for two days.
- On third day strain through a thin muslin, and bottle.
- Serve with cracked ice. N.B. If only a mild flavour is required, lessen the amount of ginger.
