- Chop ginger into 1 inch pcs. Place in a heavy-bottomed saucepan with 8 c. of cool water. Slowly bring to a boil over medium high heat, reduce heat to medium low, and simmer for 20 min.
- Remove gingered water from heat, add in honey and lemon juice, and stir. Cold completely in refrigerator. Juice oranges to yield 2 c., strain juice, and chill. Strain the chilled ginger mix into the orange juice. Add in bourbon, if you like and refrigeratein a punch bowl with a Blood Orange and Pomegranate Ice Ring. Garnish each c. with a Candied Orange Swizzle Stick, and serve.
