This creamy Garlic Chive Mayo is wickedly delicious. Try toasting your buns with this mayo instead of butter. You will never go back to buttered buns again.
For me, mayo is like cake batter. I am always tempted to lick the spoon. Slowly, and very deliberately too. I can muster up all kinds of flavored mayo, much like my love for flavored compound butters.
There is just a small number of criteria for building the best burger or sandwich.
For starters it should have the perfect set of condiments. You should be able to eat it without all the ingredients spilling out the side or dribbling sauce all over the place.
I confess to being a garlic lover and a mayo lover too. So I married them together, and viola’.
This creamy deliciously garlicky mayo was born.
Another alternative to this mayo is my Yum Yum Sauce. Which, I must admit, is totally out of this world in deliciousness too.
Now if you promise not to tell anyone, I was rather enjoying the remnants of this in the bowl and on the spatula. To put it mildly, licking it off the spatula and scraping the bowl for every last saucy bit.
I can only say, it’s a double edge sword having made 1/2 cup of this saucy condiment. I don’t have to worry about being tempted to just grab the jar and a spoon, if you know what I mean.
