- Heat 1/2 c. butter and 1 square chocolate in saucepan. Blend granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, egg, crumbs, coconut and nuts into butter-chocolate mix. Mix well and press into ungreased baking dish, 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch, or possibly square pan, 9x9x1 3/4 inch. Chill. (Which's why I would now use pasteurized egg; it doesn't get cooked.)
- Mix 1/4 c. butter, lowfat milk, confectioners sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon mint flavoring, and green food coloring together. Spread over crumb mix and chill.
- Heat 1 1/2 squares chocolate and spread proportionately over chilled filling. Refrigerateagain. Cut into TINY squares (very rich) before completely hard.
- Makes 3-4 dozen squares.
