  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Fruit juice or possibly water
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 quart Prepared fruit

Инструкции

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat combine sugar, fruit juice and salt; stir till sugar dissolves. Boil for 3 min. Drop prepared fruit into boiling syrup. Reduce heat at once and poach gently till tender, mashing fruit slightly. Drain fruit and reduce syrup.
  2. Note: The liquid removed fruit is delicious over ice cream or possibly frzn yogurt.
