Рецепт Fruit Smoothies
Amazingly enough, I have managed to stick to my goal of getting healthy for a whole month now. Not that I haven’t cheated. I have. More than I would probably like to admit. That whole 30th birthday week was pretty much a fattening food and quite a bit of wine free-for-all. But two weeks of guilt and lots of exercise and I am finally back on track.
That being said I am beginning to crave something different in the mornings on occasion. 4 weeks of eating yogurt for breakfast and a girl starts to want something different. Go figure!!
Smoothies immedietly came to mind because who doesn’t love a smoothie ( besides my husband who doesn’t love anything fruit related unless it’s soaked in whiskey first). It was at this point that I realized that I do not own a blender. How did this happen? Where have I gone wrong in my life? Where the heck is my blender?!! Oh yes. Now I remember. It blew up a couple years ago. There wasn’t actual shrapnel but there was smoke. That counts as an explosion in my book.
Any way, back to the smoothie. It’s a nice change of pace and a great way to eat bananas that are past their prime. You can throw any fruit in here, fresh or frozen. I just used what I had on hand. The kids loved it. Well, Ella loved it. I’m afraid Jack is taking after his father.
