Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 c. Del Monte dry apricots
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 lb Monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 pkt (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoned salt
  • 1/3 c. Del Monte golden brown seedless raisins
  • 1/4 c. Pitted dates, snipped
  • 3/4 c. Minced walnuts Crackers, for accompaniment

Инструкции

  1. Soak apricots in water for two hrs; drain and chop. Blend cheeses. Add in lowfat milk, poppy seeds and salt; mix well. Mix in fruit; mix well. Turn out on foil; shape into a log-type roll. Wrap securely in foil; refrigeratetill hard.
  2. Roll in nuts before serving. Serve with crackers.
  3. Yield: 1 log,approximately 2 pounds.
  4. Variation: Substitute 1/3 c. sherry for lowfat milk.
