.%20This%20month%20we%20were%20assigned%20a%20blog%20filled%20with%20fun%20and%20creative%20ideas%20for%20families:%20Making%20Memories%20With%20Your%20Kids.%20The%20blog%20author%20is%20Erin,%20a%20single%20mom%20with%20two%20kids%20who%20loves%20to%20bake%20and%20craft%20with%20kids,%20and%20it%20shows.%20She%20has%20tons%20of%20wonderful%20recipes%20as%20well%20as%20craft%20and%20gift%20ideas,%20on%20this%20great%20blog.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20we%20went%20right%20for%20the%20desserts%20page%20and%20one%20of%20the%20first%20things%20we%20noticed%20was%20the%20Fritos%20Dessert%20Bars.%20Fritos%20are%20Amy's%20favorite%20snack%20chip,%20one%20of%20her%20guilty%20pleasures,%20and%20at%20first,%20we%20couldn't%20really%20imagine%20this%20recipe.%20It's%20a%20no-bake%20bar,%20so%20it's%20so%20easy%20to%20make.%20And%20when%20you%20bite%20into%20it,%20you%20get%20everything%20you%20could%20ever%20ask%20for%20in%20a%20dessert:%20crunchy,%20salty,%20sweet,%20and%20sticky%20plus%20a%20hint%20of%20chocolate%20and%20peanut%20butter.%20Good%20Lord!%20We've%20died%20and%20gone%20to%20dessert%20bar%20heaven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpeaking%20of%20heaven,%20we%20brought%20these%20to%20our%20neighbor's%20baby's%20post-Baptism%20party%20and%20they%20were%20a%20huge%20hit!%20No%20one%20could%20believe%20they%20were%20made%20with%20Fritos%20or%20how%20easy%20they%20were,%20and%20everyone%20wanted%20the%20recipe.%20So%20we%20just%20said,%20%22Check%20out%20the%20blog%20tomorrow%20morning!!!%22%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThanks,%20Erin,%20for%20these%20magical%20dessert%20bars.%20Chris%20plans%20on%20cutting%20back%20the%20sugar%20and%20adding%20raisins%20or%20other%20dried%20fruits%20and%20making%20breakfast%20bars%20out%20of%20them.%20So%20good!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFritos%20Dessert%20Bars%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efrom%20Making%20Memories%20With%20Your%20Kids%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpray%20a%209X13%20baking%20pan%20with%20cooking%20spray.%20Empty%20Fritos%20into%20a%20large%20bowl.%20In%20a%20medium%20sauce%20pan%20over%20medium%20heat,%20bring%20sugar%20and%20corn%20syrup%20to%20a%20boil.%20Remove%20from%20heat%20and%20add%20peanut%20butter;%20stir%20until%20smooth.%20Pour%20mixture%20over%20Fritos%20and%20gently%20stir%20to%20coat.%20Pour%20into%20prepared%20pan%20and%20using%20wax%20paper,%20press%20down%20to%20spread%20evenly%20into%20the%20pan.%20Put%20chocolate%20chips%20in%20a%20small%20zip-lock%20bag.%20Microwave%20for%2030%20second%20spurts%20to%20melt.%20Cut%20off%20a%20corner%20of%20the%20bag%20and%20drizzle%20over%20the%20Fritos%20bars.%20Allow%20to%20set,%20then%20cut%20into%20squares.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
