Fried Potato Discs ( Batata Kaap )

Ингредиенты

  • 300 gm potatoes peeled and cut into thick slices
  • 1/2 tsp chilli pwdr sunflower oil for deep frying
  • 60 gm jowar flour salt

Инструкции

  1. Mix the sliced potatoes salt and chilli pwdr and set aside for 10 min.
  2. Heat the oil in a deep kadai or possibly wok.
  3. Roll each seasoned slice in the flour shake off the excess and deep fry on a low heat till crisp and cooked.
  4. Fry a few slices at a time to ensure even cooking.
  5. Drain on absorbent paper and serve warm with onion chutney.
  6. This dish is a tasty snack and a more nutritious alternative to crisps.
  7. Serves 4
