Рецепт French Silk Puffs
French Silk Puffs ~ A twist on the traditional French Silk Pie using Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shells!
The holidays are upon us and that means tons of gatherings, which are usually focused around a meal right? At least that’s how it rolls for me! All kinds of opportunities to try out something new of course!
Do you have a favorite dish to bring to the meals? I know I’m always the first one to volunteer for the dessert portion. I mean, that’s what everyone always raves about. I might make a mean bread, side dish or salad, but to get rave reviews are difficult. Dessert on the other hand is totally different. And hey, I’m all about getting credit for what I bring. Shallow? Maybe, but it’s true!
Enter the French Silk Puffs made with Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shells! Perfectly baked, flaky puff pastries shells stuffed with French Silk filling and topped with Cool Whip. Life does not get any better than this. My inspiration came from my dear sister-in-laws French Silk Pie recipe. Around the holidays she is always in charge of pie because we all drool over her French Silk pie, so obviously I had to do a fun twist on it!
I love Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shells because they are so easy to make. Literally take them out the freezer pop them on the baking sheet, bake and you are welcomed to a light, flaky pastry. I don’t have to slave over anything for hours and I get to spend time with my family around the holidays instead of in the kitchen. I’m all about quick and easy! Entertaining around the holidays is hard work. Many hours spent in the kitchen, cleaning your house and more! You know what I’m talking about right? It can be super stressful, but when you make recipes with quick and easy, yet delicious ingredients like Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shells you can still enjoy time with the family too! It’s all about balance right?
If you are looking for an impressive dessert with a fun twist make sure to try these French Silk Puffs and impress everyone gathered around your table during the holiday time!
