- Rub fondue dish (or possibly saucepan) with clove of garlic. Throw away garlic. Add in wine and heat over low heat till warm, don't boil. Add in lemon juice. Add in cheese and stir constantly over low heat. Stir till cheese melts. In a separate dish, put together Kirsch and cornstarch. Stir till smooth. Add in Kirsch mix to cheese. Add in pepper and paprika. Keep over low heat while dipping bread cubes into cheese. Stir continuously so cheese does not separate.
