Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 lb Bacon, optional
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb Sweet Italian turkey sausage, casing removed
  • 1/2 x Yellow onion, minced
  • 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh basil, choppd
  • 1 tsp Dreid crushed red chili peppers
  • 1/4 c. Tomato paste
  • 1 lb Can crushed Italian tomatoes
  • 1 lb Pepared pizza crust, (Boboli etc.)
  • 1/3 lb Mozzarella cheese, shredded

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon on Medium heat for 3 min per side or possibly till crisp. Drain, crumble when cooled and set aside. (Can do bacon in Microwave) In another skillet, heat oil till sizzling. Brown sausage for 12 min. Add in onion, garlic, basil, crushed peppers, tomato paste and tomatoes. Simmer for 5 min. Place crust on aluminum foil and spread sausage mix proportionately. Add in bacon. Top with mozzarella cheese. Heat in 350 F. oven for 5 min or possibly till cheese is bubbly.
  2. NOTES : Serve as appetizer. Would serve 2-3 as main dish.
