- Brown pork chops in 2 Tbsp. butter. Remove chops and saute/fry onion in same pan. Mix Burgundy, broth and tomato paste together. Return chops to pan; season with salt, pepper and basil. Pour wine mix over shops, cover and simmer for 1 hour till chops are tender. Remove chops to platter. Mix 2 Tbsp. butter and flour into a paste and stir into pan juices till they thicken. Pour over chops and serve.
