%20I%20made%20a%20tried%20and%20true%20one%20that%20I%20love%20called%20Chicken%20Tortilla%20Soup%20-%20so%20this%20is%20my%20flashback%20to%20many%20other%20cool%20fall%20nights!%20Mostly%20opening%20cans,%20but%20it%20still%20is%20homemade%20in%20my%20opinion!%20No%20fancy%20picture...just%20the%20bag%20I%20put%20in%20the%20freezer%20for%20an%20even%20quicker%20meal%20on%20another%20night.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChicken%20Tortilla%20Soup%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFrom%20Meals%20on%20the%20Move,%20Rush%20Hour%20Recipes%20by%20Holly%20Clegg%20-she%20has%20some%20of%20the%20best%20%22lighter%22%20recipe%20books%20around.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESaute%20onions%20and%20garlic%20in%20a%20little%20olive%20oil%20or%20a%20pot%20coated%20in%20non%20stick%20spray%20until%20tender.%20Add%20broth,%20tomatoes,%20tomato%20puree,%20chicken,%20chili%20powder,%20cumin,%20and%20lime%20juice%20and%20bring%20mixture%20to%20a%20boil.%20Lower%20heat%20and%20cook%20until%20chicken%20done%20(15-20%20mins).%20Add%20corn%20and%20continue%20cooking%205%20more%20minutes%20(or%20do%20like%20me%20and%20just%20put%20it%20in%20with%20the%20other%20stuff).%20I%20serve%20mine%20with%20crushed%20tortilla%20chips,%20a%20nice%20helping%20of%20shredded%20cheese%20and%20if%20I'm%20on%20my%20game%20sour%20cream%20and%20a%20sprinkle%20of%20green%20onions.%20Makes%206%20really%20nice%20servings..8%20if%20you%20stretch%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20(at%20least%20for%20a%20while)%20was%20one%20of%20those%20beautiful%20fall%20blue%20days%20with%20very%20interesting%20cloud%20formations.%20I%20found%20myself%20stopped%20in%20traffic%20several%20times%20on%20my%20way%20to%20work%20this%20morning%20and%20I%20was%20so%20mesmerized%20by%20the%20clouds%20I%20snapped%20a%20few%20shots.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20spite%20of%20the%20blue%20skies%20there%20was%20also%20a%20misty%20fog%20hanging%20low%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20would%20have%20liked%20to%20lay%20down%20on%20the%20ground%20and%20watch%20the%20clouds%20go%20by%20instead%20of%20driving%20into%20work!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPart%20of%20Downtown%20Tacoma%20on%20the%20ramp%20coming%20off%20the%20freeway%20-%20don't%20worry...we%20were%20at%20a%20dead%20stop.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20really%20a%20perfect%20lunch%20hour%20to%20walk%20down%20to%20the%20Thursday%20Broadway%20Farmer's%20Market.%20This%20is%20the%20Hotel%20Murano%20which%20is%20kitty%20corner%20from%20my%20office%20building.%20They%20have%20some%20gorgeous%20glass%20artwork%20on%20display.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20love%20the%20detail%20on%20this%20building%20on%20the%20way%20down%20to%20the%20market%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20fall%20market%20has%20fewer%20booths%20and%20fewer%20people...but%20more%20leaves!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFlowers%20were%20mostly%20dahlias..which%20is%20okay%20by%20me.%20I%20love%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFresh%20produce%20ran%20mostly%20to%20root%20veggies%20and%20apples..with%20a%20few%20other%20fruit%20thrown%20in.%20I%20picked%20up%20a%20couple%20of%20Honey%20Crisp%20because%20they%20are%20my%20favorite.%20Before%20I%20moved%20out%20here%20apples%20were%20Red,%20Green%20and%20Yellow%20:-)%20Now%20I%20know%20names!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20favorite%20crepe%20stand%20was%20not%20set%20up%20today,%20so%20I%20opted%20for%20my%20second%20favorite..the%20Peruvian%20booth.%20I%20normally%20get%20the%20Tamal,%20but%20opted%20instead%20for%20the%20anticuchos...kind%20of%20like%20chicken%20shish%20kabobs.%20They%20were%20very%20Yummmmy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ate%20in%20this%20little%20plaza%20and%20enjoyed%20the%20gorgeous%20skies...which%20by%20the%20way%20were%20gone%20within%20an%20hour%20of%20taking%20this%20shot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELuckily%20I%20brought%20dessert%20back%20to%20the%20office%20to%20console%20myself.%20Mango%20Lemonade%20from%20the%20Peruvian%20stand%20and%20the%20most%20awesome%20almond%20filled%20croissant%20from%20a%20little%20pastry%20stand%20called%20The%20Last%20Bite.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHope%20everyone%20has%20a%20great%20weekend.%20Kitchen%20Bouquet%20is%20going%20on%20hiatus%20for%20a%20week%20while%20we%20travel%20to%20Louisiana.%20See%20you%20when%20we%20get%20back!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20have%20a%20flashback%20of%20any%20kind%20that%20you'd%20like%20to%20add%20put%20your%20link%20below!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20joining%20in%20over%20at%20Foodie%20Friday%20this%20week.%20Check%20out%20the%20other%20posts%20HERE.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
