Five years.
For over half a decade I have dedicated a little space of internet for my ramblings about food, I can’t believe it! Who knew when I started that I would still be blogging five years later?? I think it’s a lot of fun to look back and see the transformations I’ve made since I posted my “best salad ever“. In a way, this space not only documents the food I’ve cooked, but also my life experiences – moving to a new country, starting a family, seeing some gorgeous sights, making friends, and enjoying life gluten free.

.%20%20We%20survived%20not%20only%20one,%20but%20two%20restaurant%20dinners%20without%20incident,%20along%20with%20a%20snowshoe%20that%20started%20at%203100m.%20%20It%20gave%20us%20great%20confidence%20that%20we%20could,%20in%20fact,%20do%20this%20again.%20%20And%20we%20think%20baby%20girl%20loved%20seeing%20all%20the%20snow%20and%20scenery%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20one%20dinner,%20Ryan%20and%20I%20even%20got%20to%20enjoy%20one%20of%20our%20favorite%20dishes,%20what%20I%20consider%20the%20%E2%80%9Cultimate%E2%80%9D%20r%C3%B6sti%20%E2%80%93%20r%C3%B6sti%20topped%20with%20ham,%20cheese%20and%20a%20fried%20egg%20%E2%80%93%20altogether%20a%20bit%20much,%20but%20still%20delicious,%20and%20something%20we%20had%20not%20really%20indulged%20in%20since%20our%20last%20trip%20to%20this%20region%20nearly%20two%20years%20ago.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThough%20I%20think%20I%20rather%20prefer%20the%20scenery%20in%20the%20winter%20vs.%20the%20summer,%20there%E2%80%99s%20something%20about%20the%20snow%20that%20just%20brings%20out%20the%20texture%20and%20boldness%20and%20majesty%20of%20those%20alpine%20peaks%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20place%20is%20just%20inspiring,%20no?%20I%20love%20how%20big%20everything%20is,%20that%20that%20it%20can%20make%20one%20feel%20so%20small%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFood%20is%20as%20much%20about%20what%20is%20on%20the%20dinner%20table%20as%20it%20is%20about%20sense%20of%20place.%20%20Exploring%20the%20places%20where%20we%20get%20our%20beloved%20recipes,%20enjoy%20cherished%20meals%20together,%20or%20even%20just%20to%20find%20the%20reminders%20of%20what%20will%20become%20our%20favorite%20memories%20I%20think%20is%20worth%20it,%20even%20if%20some%20of%20us%20are%20too%20young%20to%20be%20able%20to%20remember.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20at%20least%20we%20have%20images%20to%20show%20her,%20and%20can%20tell%20her%20that%20the%20first%20time%20she%20ever%20tried%20roasted%20tomato%20soup%20or%20wore%20a%20pair%20of%20sunglasses%20was%20in%20view%20of%20these%20gorgeous%20panoramas.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20hopefully,%20one%20day%20she%20becomes%20as%20much%20awed%20and%20full%20of%20wonder%20as%20we%20were,%20altogether,%20taking%20it%20all%20in.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20five%20years,%20little%20blog.%20%20A%20lot%20has%20happened%20since%20I%20started%20these%20pages,%20and%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20wait%20to%20see%20what%20the%20next%20five%20years%20will%20bring!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
