Easy yummy and unusual slice,this can be made with the ingredients you have in your pantry.Slices can be made the day before required,if you wish.Reheat in moderate oven for about 15 mins.It can be frozen for up to 3 months...though not suitable to microwave.

- Cut one pastry sheet into 2 rectangles,11 cm by 25 cm and 14 cm by 25 cm.Place the small rectangle onto a greased Swiss roll pan.Top with half the sausage filling,leaving a 2 cm border around the edges,glaze with a little milk.Fold large rectangle in half length ways,cut folded side at 1 cm intervals,cutting to within 1 cm of the opposite edge.Unfold pastry,place over filling,press edges together,brush with a little more milk.Repeat with remaining pastry and filling.
- Bake in hot oven 10 mins,reduce heat to moderate,bake further 45 mins or until lightly browned.Drain fat from pan halfway through cooking time.Stand 5 mins before serving.
- FILLING:
- Press out as much syrup from pineapple as possible.Combine pineapple with mincemtomato sauce,shallots and parsley,mix well.Filling is ready to.
