Ингредиенты

  • 3/4 c. Vegetable shortening
  • 1 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 c. QUAKER Oats (quick or possibly old fashioned, uncooked)
  • 1 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt (opt)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda

Инструкции

  1. Heat oven to 350'F. Beat shortening, suagrs, egg, water and vanilla till creamy. Add in combined oats, flour, salt and baking soda; mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 min or possibly till light golden. Remove to cooling rack; cold completely. Store tightly covered.
  2. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
  3. MY OWN SPECIAL COOKIES: Add in 1 c. of any or possibly a combination of the following ingredients to basic cookie dough: raisins, minced nuts, chocolate chips or possibly coconut.
