%20is%20next%20week%20already?%20%20Gosh,%20did%20that%20sneak%20up%20on%20me!%20%20%20Ah,%20Summer....I%20LOVE%20SUMMER!%20%20In%20my%20perfect%20world%20it%20would%20be%20summer%20all%20year%20long.%20%20I%20love%20everything%20about%20summer,%20including%20traditional%20summertime%20foods%20like%20these%20amazing%20ribs!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20is%20really%20no%20need%20to%20put%20these%20on%20the%20grill%20at%20all...but%20I%20admit,%20sometimes%20I%20finish%20them%20off%20there%20to%20give%20them%20a%20grilled%20look.%20However,%20most%20times%20I%20just%20slather%20on%20some%20warmed%20up%20BBQ%20sauce%20before%20serving%20and%20don't%20bother%20heating%20up%20the%20grill.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20trick%20to%20these%20great%20ribs%20is%20pre-baking%20them%20in%20a%20HOT%20(425%20degree%20F)%20oven%20for%2020%20minutes%20before%20putting%20them%20into%20the%20slow%20cooker.%20%20This%20allows%20some%20of%20the%20fat%20to%20melt%20off%20ahead%20of%20time.%20%20My%20slow%20cooker%20will%20not%20hold%20a%20long%20slab%20of%20ribs,%20so%20I%20cut%20them%20down%20the%20center%20into%20two%20half%20slabs%20after%20I%20remove%20the%20membrane%20on%20the%20underside.%20You%20can%20leave%20the%20membrane%20on,%20but%20I%20find%20it's%20much%20easier%20to%20cut%20the%20ribs%20once%20this%20is%20removed.%20%20Find%20out%20more%20about%20how%20to%20remove%20the%20membrane%20here.%20%20I%20then%20season%20them%20well%20with%20my%20favorite%20rub%20(I%20am%20currently%20in%20love%20with%20Gourmet%20Warehouse%20Applewood%20Smoked%20Seasoning)%20and%20let%20them%20get%20to%20room%20temperature%20before%20I%20start%20the%20whole%20cooking%20process.%20Once%20they%20are%20out%20of%20the%20oven,%20%20%20I%20like%20to%20set%20the%20ribs%20up%20on%20their%20sides%20in%20the%20slow%20cooker%20as%20you%20see%20above,%20to%20allow%20the%20fat%20to%20drip%20down%20and%20off%20of%20them.%20%20I%20pour%20a%20little%20of%20my%20favorite%20BBQ%20sauce%20on%20to%20the%20ribs%20and%20cover%20and%20cook%20on%20low%20for%20about%206%20hours.%20%20Once%20the%20ribs%20are%20done,%20they%20can%20be%20quickly%20grilled%20up%20to%20caramelize%20the%20sauce%20or%20you%20can%20simply%20cut%20them%20between%20the%20bones%20and%20slather%20them%20with%20some%20more%20warmed%20up%20BBQ%20sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20are%20so%20moist%20and%20tender....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20will%20see...the%20meat%20will%20literally%20just%20fall%20off%20the%20bone!%20%20YUM!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIs%20it%20wrong%20to%20dream%20about%20BBQ%20ribs?%20%20If%20it%20is...I%20don't%20want%20to%20be%20right!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFall-Off-The-Bone%20Slow%20Cooker%20Ribs%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBy%20Renee%20P.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPublished%2005/18/2015%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMoist%20and%20fall-off-the-bone%20tender%20baby%20back%20ribs%20made%20in%20your%20slow%20cooker.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECut%20slab%20into%20two%20halves%20so%20it%20will%20fit%20into%20the%20crock%20of%20your%20slow%20cooker.%20Spray%20crock%20with%20cooking%20spray.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20425%20degrees%20F.%20Line%20a%20large%20baking%20sheet%20with%20foil%20and%20put%20both%20halves%20of%20ribs%20on%20the%20sheet.%20Season%20both%20sides%20of%20rib%20halves%20with%20your%20favorite%20spice%20rub/seasoning%20of%20your%20choice.%20Rub%20into%20meat%20and%20allow%20meat%20to%20come%20up%20to%20room%20temperature%20as%20the%20oven%20heats.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20ribs,%20bone%20side%20down,%20in%20oven%20for%2020%20minutes.%20Remove%20and%20place%20into%20crock%20of%20slow%20cooker%20on%20it's%20side.%20(so%20bones%20are%20vertical%20in%20the%20crock)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20about%20a%20cup%20of%20your%20favorite%20BBQ%20sauce%20onto%20the%20ribs,%20cover%20and%20cook%20on%20LOW%20for%20about%206%20hours,or%20until%20the%20ribs%20are%20tender,%20but%20not%20falling%20apart.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20ribs%20and%20cut%20into%20serving%20pieces%20place%20in%20serving%20dish%20and%20baste%20with%20more%20warm%20BBQ%20sauce%20OR%20take%20slab%20halves%20and%20finish%20off%20with%20more%20sauce%20on%20a%20hot%20outdoor%20grill%20to%20caramelize%20the%20sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYield:%206%20servings%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20Time:%2000%20hrs.%2005%20mins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECook%20time:%2006%20hrs.%2020%20mins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETotal%20time:%206%20hrs.%2025%20mins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETags:%20ribs,%20slow%20cooker,%20baby%20back%20ribs,%20BBQ,%20dinner%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Find%20out%20how%20to%20remove%20membrane%20here%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdapted%20from%20Allrecipes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERenee's%20Notes:%20%20I'm%20not%20kidding,%20you've%20got%20to%20give%20this%20method%20a%20try!%20%20I%20know%20you%20will%20be%20sold%20on%20it%20like%20I%20was!%20%20Baby%20Back%20Ribs%20is%20a%20special%20occasion%20meal%20around%20here%20because%20ribs%20aren't%20the%20healthiest%20choice,%20however,%20my%20son%20adores%20them,%20so%20I%20do%20make%20them%20for%20him.%20%20I%20love%20that%20these%20can%20be%20made%20no%20matter%20what%20the%20weather%20is%20out
